Sophia Pack holds a Bachelors of Musical Arts in Percussion Performance from Brigham Young University- Idaho (BYUI). She began studying percussion at the age of 12 and has enjoyed playing piano and other instruments from a younger age. While studying piano with David Skouson, she was inspired to pursue her passion for music. Other strong influences on her music career include the NMP Principal Percussionist, Jeff Cornelius and her grandmother, Shari Pack, a harp and vocalist.

Pack has played with the Zions Youth Symphony and Chorus, Albuquerque Youth Symphony in the Sydney Opera House, with the New Mexico Philharmonic, and the Santa Fe Opera. Pack has performed with the top ensembles at BYUI throughout her time there. Under the direction of Diane Soelberg she was a featured soloist with BYUI’s Spring 2022 symphony band on tour through the south. She has also performed with the Idaho Falls Symphony,  Rexburg Tabernacle Orchestra and Grand Teton Festival Orchestra. She won 2nd place in College Division PAS Orchestral Snare Competition April 2022 and 2nd place in the College Division PAS Mallet Competition in April 2023.
